Charles H. Noble, Jr. (MCSN: 0-52140), United States Marine Corps, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism and extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight, in action against enemy forces in Korea. He was the son of Colonel Charles H. Noble Sr. commanding officer of Combat Command B, of the 16th Armored Division, which became a part of General George Patton’s Third Army.
